Creative individuals invent their own livelihood; and raising Pintabian horses can be a perfect way to do it.

When you are raising Pintabian horses, you never know what kind of spots you are going to get!

Don't think for a minute that, to make a fortune, you have to have one.

If you want to change, you have to change the way you think.

The biggest adventure you can ever have is to live the life of your dreams.

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride Pintabian horses.

The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing his attitude.

The Victor by C. W. Longenecker

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win but think you can't,
If you think you'll lose, you're lost.
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But sooner or later, the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

You Can Make a Difference

With so much negativity around us everyday, sometimes it's hard to remain positive.  Whether the negativity stems from media, social networking, colleagues, government, or peers, it can influence our attitude and well-being.  Life is too short and valuable to allow this negativity to pull us down.  We have a choice to allow these influences to rule our outlook, or to resist this easy temptation, and remain on the outlook for the silver lining.

Choose to enrich ourselves by appreciating the people around us, be thankful for the experiences we have had, and the things we have learned.  Thank those that you've neglected to appreciate.  Look for ways to make a difference.  Whether it be in your work, your family, your community, with your friends, or even a perfect stranger.

A bad day will seem better if we try to make each day count.  We need to listed with our hearts and not our minds.  Each day is a new day.  Each of us has something to offer others.  Take the time to share yourself with those around you!

Try the following:

*When something bad happens, let it go and don't rehash it.
*Do something fun.
*Listen to your favorite music.
*Go for a walk.
*Finish a project.
*Listen to the laughter...it may change your mood.
*Read.
*Hug someone.
*Smile.
