Champions do not become champions when they win the event,
but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it.
The victorious performance itself is merely the demonstration of their championship character.
~T. Alan Armstrong
The purpose of the universal online rule book is to inform individuals of the established uniform rules and regulations with regard to horse shows sanctioned by the Pintabian Horse Registry, Inc. (PHRI).  These rules became effective on January 1, 2001.

Please study this online book carefully as some of the rules and regulations may be different from those of other horse shows you have attended.  NOT knowing the rules is NOT an excuse.

The primary focus of a Pintabian Horse Show is on family entertainment and good sportsmanship.  Exhibitors are expected to maintain a friendly, competitive attitude.

All horses entered in a particular class can not win.  The judge's decision will be accepted in the true spirit of sportsmanship.

The decision of the judge is final.  In an effort to make the horse show a learning experience for all, the judge is encouraged to briefly describe the reasons for the placings.

Please note that members requested that the PHRI-sanctioned Heritage Classic Horse Show be postponed for another year.  Hopefully gas prices will be down some next year!
